sessobella@charter.net It was my vision to create an unique salon where both staff members and customers would be inspired and genuinely cared for. 5 years later the journey has challenged me in ways I could never imagine...but the evolution of knowledge, experiences and determination is priceless. 2 years into my quest, I found a new professional product company that was based in Italy. Their research and use of high quality ingredients, progressive Italian style and educational philosophy mirrored Sesso Bella's values and made the decision to become a Davines Multi-Space Salon very easy.
Within 1 year, Sesso Bella grew by 25% and was named One of the Top 200 Fastest Growing Salons in America by Salon Today Magazine. Later that year, I earned the opportunity to becoming a davines educator.
In March of 2004, I was invited to a 2 week International Training at the Davines manufacturing facility in Parma, Italy. It was my first trip out of the country and a life changing experience! Last Jan [2006] I was named to the National Team for Davines North America and it was one of my proudest professional moments. In November, I spent a week in Amsterdam for the Davines World Wide Hair Tour and was working with our National team doing color work for one of the headline Artists...Tim Hartley [former artistic director for Vidal Sasoon]. All this from a bottle of shampoo!
Now, my Davines job consists of flying all over North America training salons and other professionals on the methods and science of Davines. My specialty is color and the chemistry behind it. However, educating and nurturing the growth of our team and watching them share it with our customers gives me the most satisfaction.
Through Davines, I have the privilege of meeting incredibly talented indiviuals from the beauty industry and I take advantage of their skills to help educate and inspire the Sesso Bella team. My time behind the chair is less frequent but I can't dream of giving it up because of my love for taking care of customers and the relationships I've built.
I started my career in love with doing hair...and 20 some years later, the passion is stronger than ever.
